Liquid Mineral Services' systems.
Investing in good nutrition is paramount to creating a healthy and happy herd. Good nutrition is even more ‘udderly’ essential at calving, with today’s calves being tomorrows herd!
Fixed System

The most basic system is composed of two pumps, one for dosing a liquid blend of trace elements and a second for dosing liquid magnesium. This enables the farmer to flat rate feed the trace elements required, but also give the flexibility to alter the rate at which liquid magnesium is fed according to the weather and seasonality. The system can accommodate up to 8 pumps allowing flexibility to feed a variety of products at different rates should they be required.
Mobile System

A brilliant alternative for start-up farms with less cost on infrastructure. Working together with Tom Foot of Open Air Dairy, we designed this mobile system, the LMS system is built above two large troughs. The system is easily moved with the cows with everything being built on a platform and easily dragged behind a tractor.
Microdose System

Built inside an IBC, this compact system still provides many of the same benefits as the fixed system but on the moo-ve. This system contains a control box which means you can alter cow numbers and feed rates with just a few clicks of the button.
These microdose systems really come into their own during calving season, with many farmers choosing to calve in sheds not linked to the main, fixed LMS system. This microdose system works off mains electric, battery or solar panel and feeds directly into the cow’s water trough.
